Versivo Celebrates Third "Anni-Versivo"

ARLINGTON, VIRGINA, MAY 01, 2009 – Versivo, Inc. (“Versivo”) proudly celebrates its third “anni-Versivo” of business operations today, May 1, 2009.  According to Brett Thompson, Versivo’s Founder and President, “I am pleased with what we accomplished during our first three years. We created a culture of excellence and have assembled a world-class team of employees and partners that consistently produce meaningful results for our customers. We have a terrific customer base that is extremely loyal and continues to be instrumental to our success and growth. ”

Over the past year (May 2008 to April 2009), Versivo’s revenue grew more than 100% and its earnings grew by more than 75%. When asked why Versivo’s earnings did not grow proportional to its top line growth, Thompson said, “We made several significant investments in our business last year that had an impact on our earnings. Specifically, we signed a lease for corporate office space in Arlington, hired a full time office manager, established a managed bench for our delivery team, funded graduate school and certification programs  and celebrated our exceptional performance with a weekend holiday party in New York City with all of our employees and their significant others.” Thompson continued “Although our earnings did not grow as much as our top line revenue, I am proud of the fact that we have achieved eight consecutive quarters of profitability and we grew our earnings in very difficult economic times without any cutbacks.”

In addition to Versivo’s solid financial growth, its delivery team continued to produce tangible results and provide exceptional value to each of its clients. During the past year, Versivo received Hyland Software’s Real Solution Award for its work in helping Arlington County advance its E-government initiatives. Versivo also earned an overall client satisfaction score of 98% on its Dun & Bradstreet Open Ratings Past Performance Evaluation. According to Kerry Cassetta, Vice President of Delivery Services, “Our project teams work very hard to deliver real solutions and real value to our clients. In addition to the amount of follow on business that we earned from our existing customers last year, the Real Solution award and the customer driven Open Ratings report validate the high quality of work that Versivo delivers to its clients on each engagement.”

With the economy showing signs that it is slowly beginning to stabilize, Thompson maintains a cautiously optimistic outlook for the coming year. Thompson said “Our management team is mindful of the potential impact that a contracting economy can have on our business. Although we are taking fewer risks and we are focused on opportunities that ensure our long term viability, Versivo is still in controlled growth mode and I believe that we can grow our revenue by over 50% in the coming year.”

Versivo is celebrating its three year anni-Versivo on May 4, 2009 by attending the Capitals home playoff game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
