Brett Thompson

Brett Thompson is chairman and president of Versivo. Often described as focused, passionate, forward-thinking, determined, balanced and dynamic, Thompson has woven his unique leadership style, vision, energy and spirit into the foundation of Versivo. Under Thompson’s leadership, Versivo has assembled a world class team of information technology professionals that deliver results oriented services to a wide range of commercial and government clients. Versivo clients include Arlington County Government, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Veteran’s Health Administration, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, National Committee for Quality Assurance and many other notable organizations.

Prior to founding Versivo, Thompson was an executive consultant with CGI. Thompson executed projects for public sector, environmental and healthcare clients across the United States and Canada. His specific clients included the Environmental Protection Agency, Chevron Philips Chemical, OSF Heathcare, Jewish Healthcare, Orlando Regional Medical Center, Baptist Health South Florida and many other prominent healthcare organizations in North America. While at CGI, Thompson served as a software developer, technical manager, project manager, product manager, relationship manager and business development officer.

Thompson grew up in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science. While in college, Thompson was president of the Student Government Association, rowed crew and was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. After college, he moved to Northern Virginia and started his career. Thompson currently lives in Haymarket, Virginia with his wife, Valerie, his son Ethan (5) and his daughter Kylie (2).
