VersiForm is configurable electronic forms platform that provides rapidly deployed cross-platform electronic forms to customers by creating an environment for forms building, rather than providing a solution focused on a single custom electronic form. This enterprise-class solution empowers data collectors by providing a point-and-click interface to create an unlimited number of multi-page forms with conditional logic, data validation, and customized distribution options. The VersiForm platform has been successfully proven to work in all major browsers, including mobile web browsers. The following information describes the different features of the VersiForm platform in greater detail:
Form Logic
Provides the ability to indicated dependencies between questions. Through conditional logic, a response to a given question on a form can drive which subsequent questions are shown or hidden.
Form Paging
Provides the ability to split forms into multiple pages. Versivo understands that complex web forms could be daunting to the average user. To mitigate this, Versivo has created a wizard-based interface for completing forms. A user can be presented with a set of questions to complete before moving to the next page of questions. To provide more context to the user about the full length of the form, a list of pages is provided on the left-hand side of the interface along with a visual indication of the page currently being viewed.
Data Validation
Provides the ability to restrict user responses in order to preserve data integrity. Response fields can be indicated as required or enforce various formats including dates, phone numbers, or other custom defined formats.
Distribution Options
Provides the ability to specify the format and recipient list of a completed electronic form. Out of the box, the platform allows for email with the form data included, email notification with an attached PDF rendering of the form, or a PDF rendering of the form placed onto a file server with keyword information for import into an enterprise content management system. Versivo has performed other custom integrations to push form data into other SQL Server databases. Recipients of each form can be specified for all completed forms, or different recipients can be identified based upon responses within the form.
Form Configuration
Provides the ability to create new electronic forms using a drag-and-drop interface. This interface allows the forms administrator to drag fields onto a form and arrange them in a visual format that corresponds exactly to how the end user will view the form. This intuitive interface is the central location for controlling form content editing, form logic, data validation, and distribution options.
CSS Support
Provides the ability to quickly change the look and feel of the forms. The VersiForm platform has been developed with recognition that each customer will want a forms platform that has a look and feel consistent to their own web environment. In support of this, VersiForm has been built to allow a customer’s cascading style sheet (CSS) files to replace the default CSS files, instantly altering the look and feel of the application.
